Early 2000 – Nilesh Mehta and Mehool Parekh set up E India Venture Fund in Mauritius.
  Late 2000 – Advent International, a Boston-based US $ 6 billion private equity firm, joins the Fund as strategic partner. Role includes investment inputs and connectivity to portfolio companies for investments.
  Mid 2001 – E India Venture Fund achieves closure with US $ 18 MM in commitments in the midst of technology meltdown.
  Mid 2002 – E India Venture Fund makes its first investment in Skyscape Inc.
  Mid/End 2002 – E India partners explore pooling of resources with Infinity, an India based US $ 35 MM angel fund looking to raise offshore funds from existing investors
  Early 2003 – “Infinity” brand name rights acquired by E India Venture Fund for future fund raising. E India Venture Fund alternately named as Infinity II Fund. Infinity partners Pravin Gandhi, Gaurav Dalmia, Saurabh Srivastava become Venture Partners for deal specific involvement for E India/Infinity II.
  Mid/Late 2003 – E India/Infinity II makes investments in Scope and MDA.
